Education and Formative Years

Ashton Meem was born the only child of Lang and Molly Meem. She was a student of the St. Catherine’s School, located in her hometown, and began going out with Russell during her high school years. The couple continued seeing each other despite the fact that they initially studied at different colleges – Ashton attended the University of Georgia and Russell North Carolina State University, and after that the University of Wisconsin, to where Meem transferred as well. In August 2010, Russell popped the question, taking his blindfolded girlfriend to a presidential suite at a hotel in North Carolina and proposing with help from their dog.

Meem and Russell married in early 2012, accompanied by 300 of their friends and family members, and shared photos taken at the wedding ceremony with their fans.

Divorce and Golden Tate Rumors

Ashton and Wilson divorced in 2014, but the reason behind it has never been revealed. The football player briefly mentioned his divorce, and went on to ask his supporters and the media for privacy and understanding. Some people believed that the reason why their relationship fell through was Meem’s infidelity, as media linked her to Golden Tate, one of Wilson’s NFL colleagues, who then took to his social media to put rumors to an end, calling them ridiculous and absurd.

He also pointed out that his wife and Ashton are good friends, and concluded with a tweet in which he wrote about how personal lives of football players are irrelevant to their performances on the field.

Is Meem Married Now Or Is She Dating Anyone?

Having divorced Ashton, Wilson began a relationship with R&B singer Ciara, with whom he has a daughter named Sienna Princess Wilson, whereas Meem decided to stay silent on her relationship status. However, thanks to her and her parents’ social media, we can keep up with what she’s doing – they often speak about her accomplishments.

In September of that year, he made his regular season debut with18 completions of 34 passing attempts, in a loss to the Arizona Cardinals, after which his team defeated the Green Bay Packers, with a 14–12 result. Due to his condition, many fans and sports experts believed he would take some time off, nonetheless, he continued playing, and started all of the games in the season. In 2017, his team finished with nine victories, and in 2018, he was named captain for the second time, with the team again making the play-offs.
