Although a successful investigative reporter, Jim’s popularity mostly cames from his marriage to Mika. The two met while they were both working at WTIC-TV, and married in 1993. They were married until 2016, during which time they welcomed two daughters. The reason for their divorce was Mika’s alleged affair with Joe Scarborough, which later turned out to be true.
Following their split, Mika made her and Joe’s romance official, and the two became engaged in early 2017, and married on the 24th November 2018 in Washington, D.C. As for Jim, he is now single and focused on his children and his career.

Born Mika Emilie Leonia Brzezinski on the 2nd May 1967, in New York City, USA, she is the daughter of Zbigniew Brzezinski of Polish ancestry – a foreign policy expert and former National Security Advisor – and sculptor Anna Benesova, of Czech descent; through her mother, Mika is related to Edvard Benes, a former president of Czechoslovakia.

However, this lasted only for a year, before she switched to Fox affiliate WTIC-TV/WTIC-DT, headquartered in Hartford, Connecticut. Gradually she rose in the station, reaching the position of a general assignments reporter. Nevertheless, Mika soon changed her job as she joined WFSB-TV/WFSB-DT, also in Hartford, and ultimately reached the position of a weekday morning anchor. Two years later, Mika arrived at CBS News, where she was made the correspondent and anchor for the news show “Up to the Minute”. From CBS, she went to MSNBC, but it lasted only a few months before she returned to CBS as a desk correspondent.
In this position, she was the lead reporter during the September 11, 2001 attacks – she was at the scene when the South Tower was hit. She subsequently held several positions, including substitute anchor and contributor to such shows as “CBS Sunday Morning” and “60 Minutes”. However, Mika was eventually fired from CBS News in 2006, apparently over salary disagreements.
MSNBC Career, Net Worth
Mika was hired by MSNBC, and rejoined “Up to the Minute” news program show at first; however, she also started reporting for “NBC Nightly News” and would sometimes anchor “Weekend Today”.
However, she left both shows once “Morning Joe” host, Joe Scarborough, chose her as his newest co-host. Since then, the two have become the principal anchors of MSNBC, and though occasionally criticism for their work, they have become quite popular. They have been often criticized by President Donald Trump, and have made a few controversial remarks on other politicians, but are still on the air and one of the most popular anchors of MSNBC.
Mika Brzezinski’s net worth is estimated at $12 million, while her annual salary is reputedly $2 million, as of late-2019.
