Life and Career
Kendu has worked as a music producer for most of his life, though remaining mostly in the background, not getting a lot of credit as most producers have. One of his first television appearances was in an episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” – at the time, he had already gained a bit of attention thanks to his connection to Blige. The show hosted by the titular Ellen has won numerous awards throughout its run, following a talk show and comedy format with similarities to “The Oprah Winfrey Show”.
While producing music, Kendu apparently worked as the manager of the company K. I. Management, which is based in Berlin, and represents various music artists. After his run there, he workiedfor Matriarch Entertainment from 2008 to 2016, and during this time helped Mary J with a lot of her projects. He was one of the executive producers of the film “Betty and Coretta” which starred his former wife, also featured Angela Bassett, and was aired through Lifetime.
Former Wife – Mary J Blige
Mary J was exposed to music from a young age, thanks to his father who apparently worked as a Jazz musician. However, her father left a few years after she was born, leaving their mother to care for the family, while also working as a nurse. Her father was troubled as he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), due to his service during the Vietnam War. At a young age, she sang at church, which developed her skills. She then fell into drug and alcohol problems during her youth, dropped out of high school, and began working with several artists, looking to find her big break.
she released her first album In 1992, entitled “What the 411?”, as an artist signed with Uptown Records. She started to gain mainstream attention soon afterwards, and two years later released the album “My Life”, which is considered one of the greatest albums of all time. This helped establish her as a star, and she continued to release hits in the coming years, making her one of the most successful female artists of her genre. She was the youngest and first female artist of Uptown at the time.

She has received numerous awards, including 12 Grammy, 12 Billboard Music, and four American Music Awards. In 2006, she was given a Legends Award during the World Music Awards, and the following year received an ASCAP Voice of Music Award.
She has also forayed into acting, gaining three Golden Globe nominations during her career. One of her most notable roles is in the film “Mudbound”, for which she also recorded several songs.
She became the first person to be nominated in the Academy Awards for both acting and songwriting. Personal Life
Kendu’s first marriage was in 1991 to a woman named Maurine, and with whom he has two children, but divorced in 1999. He also has a daughter born out of a teenage relationship. He began dating Mary J In 2000, who at the time, was struggling with several addictions, including sex, drugs and alcohol. He helped her rise out of her problems, and they were together for three years before marrying, at Mary’s home. He managed her career throughout their relationship for 13 years, before Blige filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
She accused Isaacs of cheating on her, as he was reportedly having an affair with the singer Starshell, whom he also managed, and was signed under Blige’s record label Matriarch. The singer previously worked as the secretary for her husband, and Blige said that he was spending a lot of money on her while also being physically abusive. The then-married couple were involved in several physical altercations during their two year battle for a divorce settlement. She consistently pushed for higher spousal support, also accusing him of being in a relationship with Starshell. He made statements that she was turning the accusations around on him, so that he would lose his job and his health. The divorce was settled in 2018, and since then, he’s been romantically linked to other celebrities he’s managed.

This was a weak ass biography. What exactly did he do as a producer for Mary’s projects? What other artist did he manage prior to Mary, what were the accomplishments of those other artist and where are they now? What are health conditions did the divorce cause him and is he expected to recovery from the ailments? Is he currently managing and producing any other artist? What experience did he bring to the table? How did he get his start in the industry? If you are going to write a biography, please right one worth reading!!! I am a True Mary J fan and this article is bull!
