Jamie made his acting debut in 2016 with a small role as Elías Mato in “El Secreto de Puente Viejo” (The Secret at Old Bridge). The series earned many awards and nominations, including “Estrella Distinción Especial”, “Premio Asturias” and “ Premios TP de Oro”. In the same year he appeared in the film “Historias Románticas (un poco) Cabronas” as David, then rose to fame in 2017 with the main role in the Netflix series “Le Casa de Papel” (Money Heist) as Ricardo Denver Ramos.
