Right after graduation, she worked in the position of a logistics officer in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1992 until 2000, when she was hired as a reserve officer at the British Army’s Cabinet Office, working there until 2014. Moreover, Lynette pursued her career as a senior lecturer at The Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, located in Berkshire, England. There she worked as a teacher of war strategies between 1999 and 2013.
During her stint there, Lynette taught Prince Harry. She also served as the principal and senior consultant in war studies at LMC Consultants, and then worked in the Cabinet Office from 2007 to 2010. Between 2006 and 2012, Lynette was a visiting lecturer at the University of Reading, UK.
