Sonni Pacheco was born in 1991 in Pitt Meadows, British Colombia Canada, and is a model as well as an actress, but perhaps better known for being the former wife of actor Jeremy Renner. Her husband has had starring roles in numerous high profile films, such as “The Hurt Locker” and “The Town”. He also plays the role of Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Sonni grew up in Pitt Meadows on a farm where she was accustomed to living with animals and raising them. She aspired to become a model at a young age, and pursued the path as early as she could, leading her to move to Mexico to try her hand in possibly greener pastures. During her time there, she worked odd jobs including selling timeshares and becoming a hotel resort employee. She returned home and to modelling after her brief stint, focusing on lingerie modelling.

She became a model for the brand Monster Energy, which is known for being a supporter of numerous extreme sports, including mixed martial arts, motocross, skateboarding, and snowboarding. They have also promoted music acts from around the world, including Iggy Azalea and Fetty Wap. In 2007, Renner was cast in the film “28 Weeks Later”  a sequel to “28 Days Later”, set after the events of the original, with military forces trying to maintain a safe haven in London, but soon encounter a problem when the virus is reintroduced to the area. The film proved to be commercially and critically successful.

He then earned an Academy Award nomination for his performance in the following year’s “The Hurt Locker”, which follows the story of an Iraq War Explosive Ordnance Disposal team. In 2011, he got one of his biggest roles, cast as the Marvel Comics character Hawkeye, first appearing in an official role in the film “Thor”.

He later reprised his role in big Marvel films such as “The Avengers”, “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, and “Avengers: Endgame”. Personal Life

Pacheco met Renner while on the set of the film “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol”, and the two began dating shortly after that.

They had a child in 2013 and were married a year later, only  revealed by Renner during an interview for the promotion of “Kill the Messenger”. Just a month before their first anniversary, she filed for divorce from him, citing irreconcilable differences. Their divorce was settled shortly afterwards, with the two sharing custody of their child. As a part of the settlement, Renner had to pay $13,000 a month in child support.

In 2016, Sonni returned to court accusing her former husband of failing to pay around $50,000 in child support. He defended himself by admitting that even though he was paying monthly, she constantly pressured him for money which has taken a toll on his health. He also suffered lack of sleep due to the divorce proceedings and the aftermath. Since then, things have been quiet, with no hint of new relationships on either side.
