Continued Success
In 2015, he wrote the Showtime special “Gary Owen: I Agree With Myself”, for which he was also an executive producer. Thereafter, he starred as Stanley in the 2015 comedy “Bachelors”, directed by Kenny Young, and then played Larry in the 2016 horror comedy film “Meet The Blacks”. During the same year, he started working on his own “The Gary Owen Show”, which premiered in October 2016 on the BET network. Concurrently he starred as Ken in Rhyan LaMarr’s drama “Restored Me” (2016).
