After graduating, she did not pursue athletics, and instead started training in the medical field. She now works as a doctor. She began dating Drew McIntyre in 2015, who had already established himself as one of the big names in professional wrestling. This was not his first long term relationship as he was previously romantically involved with professional wrestler Taryn Terrell, and the two married in 2010 but divorced a year later.

Husband – Drew McIntyre

Born Andrew McLean Galloway IV, in Ayr, Scotland in 1985, much like his wife, Drew was very athletic at a young age, and considered a career in professional soccer, as he played at his school Prestwick Academy. At 15 years old, he became interested in professional wrestling, and got support from his parents to train while he was completing his education. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he then enrolled at Glasgow Caledonian University where he completed a master’s degree in criminology.

In 2001, he began training at the Frontier Wrestling Alliance’s Academy which led to his debut two years later in British Championship Wrestling (BCW). A year later, he was now having matches with well-known names from the US, including The Honky Tonk Man, D’Lo Brown, and Marty Jannetty.

He continued working in the independent circuit in until 2007 when he decided to move to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), the developmental brand of WWE at the time.

Within a year, he was promoted to the main roster and was even called a future world champion by Vince McMahon. He had very high standing with management, and was called the Chosen One. However, after several years with the company, he never truly fulfilled his potential, and was released in 2014.

He became the ICW Heavyweight Champion, and defended the title internationally, appearing in locations in the US and the UK. He was successful over 20 times before he lost against Grado in 2015. He returned the following year and remained in contention for the title for the rest of his run. He also worked with the independent company Evolve.

He had a two years stint in Impact Wrestling, but has always expressed his desire to return to WWE. In 2017 he appeared in NXT, leading to a run with the company’s third brand which saw him win the NXT Championship. He eventually lost the title to Andrade “Cien” Almas. and was injured during the match.

With his return from injury the following year, he was called up to the main roster where he now works as a part of the “Raw” brand.

Personal Life

After a year of dating, Frohnapfel became engaged to McIntyre in 2016, and the two married in the same year, in Saint Petersburg, Florida at the Sunken Gardens. The two have not yet expressed any desire to have children, probably due to his grueling schedule with WWE, with which he has to travel for most of the year doing shows in the US and several locations around the world. She has been mostly supporting her husband in the background, though prefers to stay out of wrestling politics.
