Amy was raised in Texas by her parents Jeffrey and Anna Reimann, and she has one sibling, a sister named Katie – she attended both elementary and high school in Texas before enrolling at the University of Kentucky in 2000, and graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in interior designing. During her time at the university, Amy was amongst the most popular cheerleaders, and was a member of the Wildcat Dancers.

Career as an interior designer

Amy launched her career as an interior designer shortly after graduating from, creating the “Renovation Realities: Dale Jr. & Amy” reality TV show together with her husband, which aired for the first time on the DIY network in June 2008. Amy started off by working for Wakefield Beasley & Associates, a private architectural and planning firm which she served as their interior projects’ coordinator. She was part of their team for three years before quitting in 2009, and in 2010 began working at Micamy Design Studio serving as the Director of Charlotte Studio (their sub-studio) and has been with them ever since – throughout the years, she has appeared in several TV series and commercials, including a commercial for Mountain Dew carbonated soft drink.
