Allison Bridges was born in New York USA in 1973 – she holds American nationality and is a former model and yoga instructor, but probably best known for being the ex-wife of American musician Chris Robinson.
Childhood and education
Allison was raised in a middle-class family somewhere in the state of New York – she was very sporting while attending high school, as she competed at several sports, while her interest in yoga was also born during those years. After matriculation, enrolled at New York University, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography in 1995.
Career as a yoga instructor and other ventures
Allison began practicing yoga while attending University, and was simultaneously taking photography classes – after graduation, she launched her career as a photographer. Around the same time, Allison was noticed by a modelling scout, and quickly became a sought-after fashion model. She kept practicing yoga, and eventually decided to become an instructor. She enrolled into the Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training Course, and in 2003 received her certification which allowed her to start working as a yoga instructor.

He grew up alongside his brother Rich in Marietta, raised by Nancy Jane and Stanley Stan Robinson – Stanley was a singer who had a single hit song entitled “Boom-A-Dip-Dip”; he died in September 2013. Chris attended Wofford College in Spartanburg in South Carolina, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1988.
The two brothers formed the Mr. Crowe’s Garden band in the ‘80s, renamed to The Black Crowes in 1989 – their debut album “Shake Your Money Maker” was released on 13 February 1990. In the following nine years, the band released six albums, while band members often changed – the band took a break from performing in early 2002.
After The Black Crowes went on hiatus, Chris launched his solo career with his “The Red Road” song which served as “The Banger Sisters” movie soundtrack in 2002 – his debut album entitled “New Earth Mud” was released in October, while his second album, “This Magnificent Distance”, was released in the summer of 2004.
The Black Crowes came back together in 2005 and released their live album “Brothers of a Feather: Live at the Roxy” in July 2007, and another album, “Warpaint”, on 4 March 2008. The band broke up on 15 January 2015, but reunited again on 11 November 2019. Chris made a cameo appearance in an episode of “The Kids in the Hall” sketch show in 1994, and was featured in “The People Speak” documentary film shot in 2009.
