Emily’s ex-husband is the famous comedian and actor, Chris D’Elia. Born Christopher William D’Elia on the 29th March 1980, in Montclair, New Jersey USA, he is the son of the TV and film producer and director, Bill D’Elia and his wife, Ellie D’Elia, an interior designer.
Of Italian and Polish ancestry, Chris spent the majority of his childhood in Los Angeles, with his younger brother, Matt D’Elia, who is now a filmmaker and actor. Chris matriculated from La Canada High School.
D’Elia’s career started when he was in high school, as he made a couple of appearances in the TV series “Chicago Hope” (1996-1997). He then took a break until the early 2000s, but didn’t have much success as an actor until 2010, when he was selected for the part of Bill Stankowski in the TV comedy series “Glory Daze” (2010-2011).
