Jahira Dar was born on 1 February 1985, in the Dominican Republic. Her zodiac sign is Pisces. Jahira has never shared any information on her parents, and only got into the limelight after her appearance in the documentary about Cesar Millan in the role of his girlfriend.

Jahira started dating Cesar Millan in 2010, after he divorced from his first wife Ilusion after sixteen years. In August 2010 he confirmed being in a relationship with Jahira, and she seemed to succeed in getting him back to normal life.
The couple dated for several years, and in 2016 Cesar organized a special dinner in Athens, Greece, at the top of the Mount Lycabettus, bent down on his knee and asked Jahira the main question. Cesar shared photos from the romantic moment on his Instagram account. The violinist played behind the couple, and Cesar presented Jahira with a big bouquet of pink roses, decorated with delicate branches of eucalyptus. ‘I wanted the proposal to be special and to surprise her, so I spent months planning our trip to Greece,’ Millan said in his interview to People in 2016, ‘I am still proud of myself that I never gave it away!’
Cesar used to like and comment on the photos of his fiancée on her Instagram account, but her latest photo there, posted in May 2017, left un-liked by Cesar, which made their fans worried. They started asking questions about the status of their relationship, but both Jahira and Cesar keep silent; no updates on their upcoming wedding have been announced.
Who is Cesar Millan?
Early years, family
Cesar Felipe Millan Favela was born on 27 August 1969, in Culiacán, Sinaloa Mexico. His parents, María Teresa Favela and Felipe Millán Guillen, are experienced farmers, living in rural of Sinaloa. Cesar’s grandfather, was also a farmer.
As he spent his childhood surrounded by farm animals, he enjoyed spending time with them, and from that moment his love for dogs started growing. At the age of 21 he illegally crossed the border into the US with only $100 in his pocket, and not knowing a word in English. This harrowing experience made him suffer from the risk of being robbed and even killed, so he let the US police catch him several times, as he was then well fed, while Mexican police didn’t feed the people they caught at the border.
Successful career
Cesar got his first job as a dog groomer in Los Angeles. He later worked as a limousine driver, and in this job he met Jada Pinkett Smith, who later became one of his best friends.
Jada provided Cesar with an English teacher, paying for a year of lessons. Within a couple of years, Cesar created his Dog Psychology Center, and then the Pacific Point Canine Academy, pursuing his dream of working with dogs. He approached MPH Entertainment, Inc., with a pilot episode of his show “Dog Whisperer”. The series eventually premiered on the National Discovery Channel in 2004, and since then has been a hit in more than 20 countries around the world. Later the show moved to the Nat Geo WILD channel, was cancelled in 2012, but revived in 2014. On the show Cesar worked with his dog named Daddy, which was previously owned by Redman, the rapper – famous for his duo with Christina Aguilera in her single “Dirrty”.
Latest endeavors
Among Cesar’s projects are his “Cesar’s Way” magazine, launched in 2009, his “Cesar Millan Live!” lecturing center, and the new dog show “Cesar Millan’s Dog Nation” which is aired on the Nickelodeon channel since 2015. Starting in 2007, Cesar has written several books on dog instructing with his co-author Mellisa Jo Peltier, including such successful publications as “Cesar’s Way: The Natural, Everyday Guide to Understanding and Correcting Common Dog Problems” (2007), “Be the Pack Leader: Use Cesar’s Way to Transform Your Dog . . . and Your Life” (2008) and “Cesar Millan’s Lesson’s from the Pack: Stories of the Dogs Who Changed My Life” (2017).

Cesar was also a guest star in the popular series “Ghost Whisperer”, as he appeared in one of the episodes of the show as himself, while the character of Jennifer Love Hewitt was seeking the help of a dog instructor in another case she had to deal with. Cesar is the executive producer of such shows as “Cesar 911” and “Mutt and Stuff”.
Two children form the first marriage
During his married life with Illusion Millan, Cesar welcomed two sons: André, born in 1995, and Calvin in 2001. Jahira spends a lot of time with Cesar and his sons when they visit him, as they both live with their mother, Illusion, since she divorced from Cesar.

Just as her fiancée, Jahira likes dogs and other animals. Along with her husband she supports various foundations, shelters and rehab centers which help pets.
