Eamon Farren was born in North Queensland, Australia, on 19 May 1985, He holds Australian nationality; his zodiac sign is Taurus. Acting career
Theatre career
Eamon has worked in Sydney Theatre Company since 2013, in such productions as “Romeo and Juliet” (2013), “Switzerland” (2014), for which he was nominated as Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Mainstream Production by Sydney Theatre Awards, and Fugitive (2014); the latter was presented at the Adelaide Festival. In 2015 Eamon landed a role in “The Present”, an adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s “Platonov”, also known as “Fatherlessness”, sharing the stage with Cate Blanchett, who plays one of the main characters, Anna Petrovna.
Filming career
Eamon got his first role on the big screen as Levi Miller in “The Outsider” TV film in 2002. Then he played Dim in two episodes of the TV series “The Sleepover Club” in 2003. Taking a break for a few years to finish off with his education, he got back to filming in 2008 as Caleb in “All Saints”, and Jimmy in “Lucky Country”. In 2009 Eamon landed the role of Roo in “Blessed” and Cpl. John Powell in “The Pacific” in 2010. He also appeared in the short movie entitled “A Parachute Falling in Siberia” as a sales assistant, and as Arrow in “Rescue Special Ops” the same year.

Cahir in “The Witcher” series
In 2019 Eamon appeared in six episodes of the new Netflix series, “The Witcher”, in which he landed the role of Cahir. The full name of his character (according to the books of the famous polish fantasy author, Andrzej Sapkowski) is Cahir Mawr Dyffryn aep Ceallach, one of the intelligence officers of the Nilfgaardian army. In the first season of the show Cahir, according to the plot, follows princess Ciri to catch her and get to his emperor, Emgyr. However, being Ciri’s worst nightmare, Cahir changes his mind and joins the Witcher in his quest to finding Ciri in order to save her. Eamon shared he really enjoyed filming in the Netflix series, and was looking forward to filming the second season, coming up in 2021.
