Born on the 9th June 1979 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he is one of two children born to Bruce Walker, a school administrator, and his wife Joyce Walker, a librarian. He has a sister, Jenimay Walker, who is an actress and a model. Following his high school matriculation, Andrew enrolled at Vanier College, then earned a full scholarship to Boston College, after becoming one of the best football players at Vanier.
Unfortunately, during spring camp training, he tore his anterior cruciate ligament and was forced to end his football career. He then turned to acting, and his debut came in 1994.
Initial Roles
Andrew was chosen for the part of Bobby Corbin in the TV series “Sirens”, and three years later, he secured his first recurring role, in the TV series “Student Bodies” (1997-1999).
Two years later, he was selected for the role of Blaire Resnickie in the TV comedy-drama series “Radio Active”, which made him quite famous, and launched him further into the acting world. Andrew continued with TV roles, first with the part of Rick Stage in “Maybe It’s Me” from 2001 to 2002, and then as Cole Harper in “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” (2002-2003). Throughout the 2000s, he had a number of successful appearances, especially in the TV series “Cuts”, and the film “Steel Toes” (2007).

The 2010s, Hallmark Channel Contract
In 2010 Andrew’s career received a turn in the right direction, as he signed an exclusive deal with the Hallmark channel, and since then has starred in more than a dozen television films produced by the channel. His first film for Hallmark was “A Bride for Christmas”,, then “Bridal Wave” (2015), “Date with Love” (2016), and in recent years “Snowed-Inn Christmas” (2017), and “Bottled with Love” (2019).
In addition, Andrew has worked on several other projects, such as the films “Loaded” in 2015, then the horror crime-drama film “Deadly Signal” (2016), starring Vedette Lim and Daniel Quinn, while in 2018 he starred in the sci-fi film “Oxalis”, with Kelly Pendygraft and Derek Wilson. In total, Andrew has over 70 film and TV credits to his name, and won the Best Actor Award at Whistler Film Festival back in 2007 for the film “Steel Toes”.
