Who is Sam Alexis Woods?
American celebrity child Sam Alexis Woods was born in the USA, on 18 June 2007, making Gemini her zodiac sign. She’s perhaps only known for being the daughter of Tiger Woods, who’s rated to be one of the best ever golfers in the world, and Elin Maria Pernilla Nordegren who’s a model and former nanny.
Parents and early life
Sam’s being raised in the US by her parents, and they’re trying to be equally involved in her upbringing even though they divorced in 2010, when Sam was only three. She has an older brother Charlie Axel, born in 2009, as well as two maternal half-siblings from her mother’s relationship with American former professional American Football player Jordan Cameron.
Sam’s currently attending a local high school in the US, and is mostly focused on sports; it’s believed that she’s begun pursuing golf and is quite talented, although this hasn’t been confirmed.

Swedish-American model and former nanny Elin Maria Pernilla Nordegren was born in Stockholm, Sweden on 1 January 1980, making Capricorn her zodiac sign; she’s perhaps only known for being a former wife of Tiger Woods.
Elin was raised in Stockholm alongside her twin sister Josefin Nordegren and older brother Axel, by their father Thomas Nordegren who was a radio journalist, and mother Barbro Holmberg who’s a former migration and asylum policy minister. Elin matriculated from a local high school in Stockholm in 1998, and then enrolled at college, while simultaneously working at a supermarket as a cashier to pay for her studies; she dropped out in 2000, after launching her career as a model and appearing on the cover page of the magazine “Café Sport”. Elin will later return to studying, earning her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rollins College (Winter Park, Florida) in May 2014.
She was working at a clothing store in Stockholm when she met professional Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik’s wife Mia Parnevik, who hired her as their au pair; Elin then moved to the US and was introduced to Tiger Woods at the 2001 Open Championship. Tiger had already asked to be introduced to Elin a year earlier, but she was seeing someone at that time; Tiger and Elin became engaged in November 2003 and married in October 2004.
The magazine “The Dubliner” published nude photographs of a woman in 2006, claiming that it was Elin; she sued the magazine on 16 November 2006 and was awarded €125,000.
It was revealed in 2009 that Tiger had been unfaithful, and his and Elin’s divorce was finalized on 23 August 2010; she was given $100 million as divorce settlement, and used $12 million to buy a mansion in Florida.
Elin was in a relationship with the late American billionaire entrepreneur Chris Cline sometime in the mid-2010s, but gave birth to her and Jordan Cameron’s son in October 2019, and to their second son in December 2022.

American professional golfer Eldrick Tont ‘Tiger’ Woods was born in Cypress, California USA on 30 December 1975, making Capricorn his zodiac sign. He today holds various golf records, ranks second in men’s major championships won, and is tied for first place in PGA Tour wins; most people believe him to be the best golfer of all time, and he’s been inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
Tiger was raised in Orange County, California as an only child, by his mother Kultida ‘Tida’ Woods who was a housewife, and father Earl Dennison Woods who was a US Army infantry officer, and served two tours of duty in Vietnam; Tiger has three half-siblings from his father’s first marriage.
He was less than two years old when he began playing golf, and it was his father who taught him to play; Tiger also excelled in baseball while attending a local elementary school. He had already won various competitions before turning seven, and was eight when he won the Junior World Golf Championships’ 9-10 aged boys event. He was 15 and attending Western High School when he became the younger US Junior Amateur Champion, setting a record which was broken in 2010 by Jim Liu.
Tiger matriculated in 1994 and then enrolled at Stanford University on a golf scholarship, but quit two years later, wanting to pursue a career as a professional golfer.
He officially turned professional in August 1996, and immediately signed contracts with Titleist and Nike; his first major win was the Masters on 13 April 1997, and only two months later, Tiger topped the Official World Golf Ranking. He won eight tournaments in 1999, which hadn’t been achieved in 25 years.
Tiger won six consecutive championships in 2000, the first time that someone had achieved that in 52 years, and he continued to play brilliantly in the following six years. He suffered a knee injury and underwent surgery in April 2008; even though Tiger won the 2008 US Open, the knee was still a problem and he had to undergo surgery again.
After it was revealed in 2009 that he had been unfaithful to Elin, Tiger stated in December that he would be taking an indefinite break from golf, wanting to focus on his marriage; he returned to playing only two months later, stating that he was foolish to stop. His performance then declined, and he was only able to resurface in 2013, when he won several competitions, including Farmers Insurance Open, WGC-Cadillac Championship and the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
He underwent back surgery on 16 September 2015, but his back continued to be a problem in 2016 and 2017; Tiger underwent microdiscectomy surgery on his back for the fifth time on 23 December 2020, and has since been playing golf less actively.
He began dating American former professional skier Lindsey Caroline Vonn in March 2013, but they broke up in May 2015, and he was then in a relationship with American stylist Kristin Smith from November 2016 through August 2017, and with American restaurant manager Erica Herman from 2017 through 2022.
