Who is Marie Avgeropoulos?
Canadian actress Marie Avgeropoulos was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, on 17 June 1986, making Gemini her zodiac sign. She has 33 acting credits, but is probably known best for starring as Octavia Blake in all 100 episodes of the science fiction mystery series “The 100”, which was created by Jason Rothenberg, and also starred Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor. It follows 100 juvenile delinquents who’ve been sent to Earth from a spaceship, to determine whether or not Earth’s ready to be repopulated; the series aired from 2014 through 2020, and won 10 of its 54 award nominations.

In 2013, Marie played Cassie McCoy in the episode “The Empire State Strikes Back” of the romantic comedy “90210”, and the same year saw her play Kirstie Nelson in 10 episodes of the mystery horror “Cult”, which starred Jessica Lucas and Matthew Davis; it follows an investigation regarding a string of disappearances and deaths.
Marie then focused on shooting for “The 100”, having no other TV series roles to this day.

Marie’s debut film role was playing Valli Wooley in the popular 2009 romantic comedy “I Love You, Beth Cooper”, which starred Paul Rust and Hayden Panettiere, and was directed by Chris Columbus.
