Steelo made his acting debut back in 2001, however, at 19 years of age Steelo moved to Los Angeles, wanting to become a musician, but actually found a job as a talent scout for a record label. As he started devoting more time to his job, he met various people from show business, including Rob Dyrdek. The two became friends, and subsequently Rob invited Steelo as the newest addition to “Ridiculousness”.

Steelo has been on the show since its inception in 2011, and has missed only two episodes, appearing in 387 episodes so far, next to Rob and Chanel West Coast. The concept is quite simple – the series shows a series of ‘ridiculously’ funny, outrageous videos usually created by accident, and produced totally by amateurs.He has been promoted to the creative producer of the show, since its 8th season, and next to Rob he is the one mainly responsible for the success of the show.
