Early life, family, educational background
Soni Nicole Bringas was born on 2 February 2002, in Portland, Oregon USA. She is of South American and Spanish descent, with her father being from Uruguay and her mother from Spain. Soni and her family moved to Costa Rica and lived there for a year when she was eight years old.
Soni has an older brother, Paul, with whom she has a wonderful relationship; he plays the guitar and is very artistic. She also posted on twitter how grateful she was to him for introducing her to American rapper Logic’s music, as she couldn’t stop listening to his songs.

Her role a hip-hop dancer in the 2014 episode “Chapter Seven” of the CW series “Jane the Virgin,” gained her a lot of attention. Later that year she performed alongside Quvenzhane Wallis in a dance that was choreographed by Mandy Moore on “Dancing with the Stars”, to promote the movie “Annie.”

She still dedicates ten to twenty hours per week to dancing. Soni has a very active social media presence on Instagram and Twitter. She frequently posts pictures with her fellow cast members.
It is not known if she is in a romantic relationship, but it has been rumoured that she is involved with her co-star Michael Campion, who plays Jackson Fuller in “Fuller House.” An ask.fm profile claiming to be Soni revealed that she was dating Michael.
