Childhood and education
Robin has been described as one of the most secretive actresses out there, as she hasn’t shared a single detail regarding her parents with the public, nor has she ever mentioned having any siblings, which is why most people believe her to be an only child. Career of an actress
Robin’s career was officially launched when she was cast for her first role in “The Krofft Superstar Hour” TV series in 1978 – the show had only one season, but it helped Robin gain some recognition and further roles. She went on to appear in a single episode of the “Man Undercover” TV series in 1978, and from there made her movie debut in “The Incredible Hulk” – she appeared in several movies in the next couple of years, including in “Fugitive Family”, “Joe Dancer: The Big Trade”, and in the “T.J. Hooker” drama show.
She appeared in a single episode of the “Knight Rider” TV series in 1983, and the next six years of her career were filled with TV series in which she appeared in an episode or two, including “Highway to Heaven”, “Crazy Like a Fox”, and “Airwolf” amongst others. She could have been seen appearing in a couple of episodes of the “Murder, She Wrote” TV series in 1987, and had a significant role in the “Generations” TV series in 1990. In 2001 she appeared in two movies entitled “The Illusion” and “Wooly Boys”.
Marriage with Bryan Cranston
Both Robin and Bryan have been very secretive throughout the years regarding their marriage, as they prefer to keep their personal matters to themselves.
The two met for the first time in the ‘80s when they were both working on the “Airwolf” TV series – Bryan directing while Robin was acting in it. They began dating during its shooting, and were together for years before exchanging their wedding vows in 1989 – they both agreed not to start a family right away because of their careers, so it was a couple of years later that Robin gave birth to their daughter Taylor Dearden. Just as her parents, Taylor has made her way into the film industry as well, and could have been seen playing Ophelia in the “Sweet/Vicious” TV series.
The popular Facebook page “Humans of New York” has uploaded a picture of Robin and Bryan attending the Met Gala event in May 2014, and included a short interview done with them. His father Joseph abandoned the family when Bryan was around 11 years old. and it took them 13 years to reconnect, and they remained on good terms until Joseph passed away in 2014. Bryan matriculated from the Canoga Park High School in Los Angeles, and then enrolled at the Los Angeles Valley College from which he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in police science in 1976. Bryan has numerous roles credited to his name – his first notable role was as Dr. Tim Whatley in the “Seinfeld” TV series – he was part of the show for nine years from 1989 to 1998.

Some of the other popular movies and TV series which he has appeared in throughout the years include “Saving Private Ryan” movie starring Tom Hanks in 1998, “Little Miss Sunshine” in 2006, and “Godzilla” shot in 2014.
