His father Joseph abandoned the family when Bryan was around 11 years old. and it took them 13 years to reconnect, then they remained on good terms until Joseph passed away in 2014. Bryan matriculated from the Canoga Park High School in Los Angeles, and then enrolled at the Los Angeles Valley College from which he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in police science in 1976. Bryan has numerous roles credited to his name – his first notable role was as Dr. Tim Whatley in the “Seinfeld” TV series – he was part of the show for nine years from 1989 to 1998.
