Who is Quinton Aaron?

American actor and singer Quinton Aaron was born in New York City, USA, on 15 August 1984, making Leo his zodiac sign. He has 72 acting credits, but is perhaps still known best for playing the lead character Michael Oher in the critically acclaimed biographical sports movie “The Blind Side”, which also starred Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw, and was written and directed by John Lee Hancock. It tells the true story of Michael Oher who was a homeless and traumatized boy, and ended up being the first round pick in the National Football League (NFL); the movie won nine of its 39 award nominations, including an Oscar win for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role.

Education and early life

Quinton was raised in The Bronx, New York City solely by his mother Laura Aaron who struggled to provide for them as Quinton was growing up; it’s widely believed that his father abandoned Laura before Quinton was born, but this hasn’t been addressed by the actor.

He had a rather rough childhood as he was bullied because of being overweight, and it’s also been revealed that Quinton once witnessed his mother being physically assaulted; Laura was deeply religious, and she and Quinton went to church every week.
