Who is Holly Sonders?
American former professional golfer, journalist and social media star Holly Sonders Niederkohr, was born in Marysville, Ohio USA, on 3 March 1987, making Pisces her zodiac sign. She’s perhaps known best for having hosted the sports talk-show “Morning Drive” when it premiered in 2011; it was also hosted by Damon Hack and Cara Robinson Banks, aired every weekday at 7 a.m. and covered sports, entertainment and politics. The talk-show ended after it had aired 44 episodes over three seasons.
Education and early life
Holly was raised in Marysville alongside her brother, by their mother Sandy and father Dan Niederkohr; not many details have been shared about her parents and brother, because Holly prefers to keep them away from the media’s attention, but it’s known that her mother had also been a professional golfer.
Holly was only five when her mother began teaching her to play golf, while she eventually also began playing basketball and baseball. She studied at a local high school in Marysville and played for the school’s baseball team, while she also enjoyed running track and appearing in school plays. Holly was only 14 when she won the American Golf Association Championship.
Upon matriculating in 2005, Holly enrolled at Michigan State University, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2009.
Holly’s career
Holly suffered a serious knee injury while attending Michigan State, and it restrained her ability to walk; this was when she began thinking about a career in broadcast journalism, rather than golf.
She worked at the radio station Little Rock upon graduation, and began attracting attention after joining “Morning Drive” in 2011.
In 2014, Holly began working at Fox Sports as a broadcaster, and was then featured in a number of TV shows, such as “Undisputed” and “The Herd”, while she also wrote columns for sports websites GOLF.com and Gold Digest.
In 2015, Holly began covering the National Football League (NFL) for Fox Network, as their sideline reporter.
Her fitness app ‘The TEAMUP’ was launched on 1 May 2020.

There are several men whom Holly’s been with, that we know about. She began dating American journalist Erik Kuselias when the two worked together on Golf Channel; they became engaged in 2012, married in 2013, but divorced in 2016. It’s widely believed that it was Holly’s lifestyle that led to their divorce, as she had launched her OnlyFans account.
She became engaged to American professional sports gambler Dave Oncea in 2019, but they broke up only a couple of months later.
Since June 2021, Holly’s been in a relationship with American former professional boxer Oscar De La Hoya; they met when Holly interviewed him.
