Denise Milani

Denise Milani is a well-known name in the fitness and pin-up modelling scene, who has worked for international brands since the early 2000s. After being crowned Miss Bikini World in 2007, Denise’s promising career went from strength to strength; these days, she’s a National Council on Strength and Fitness trainer and wellness coach with hundreds of thousands of social media followers.

Born on 24th April 1976, in Frydek-Mistek, Czechoslovakia, Denise is of American-Czech nationality thanks to the many years she has spent living in Los Angeles, California, USA. The attractive brunette first gained public recognition after modelling for SPORTSbyBROOKS in 2005; just four years later, she was on the cover of Playboy Magazine, and had a large male fanbase.

According to reliable media outlets, Denise is the eldest of three children. Her father, now deceased, worked as a serviceman, whereas her mother was a stay-at-home wife. Denise and her two younger sisters are said to be extremely close; however, the model prefers to protect her family members’ privacy and keep their digital footprint as small as possible, and as such, their names and ages remain unknown.

Although Denise speaks as little of her personal life and past as possible, we know that she began dating her future husband Jerry Trlica in the late 1990s. The couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in 2000, and had a son named Jacob shortly afterwards. Given that the wellness coach never mentions Jerry, information regarding their relationship varies from one source to another, with some media outlets claiming that they divorced in the mid-2010s.

Whatever the case, Denise hasn’t been romantically linked to anyone else since becoming a minor celebrity. The influencer, who has over 700,000 Instagram followers, sparked concern when one fan noticed that she hasn’t posted anything since April 2023, whereas previously she posted at least once a month.

Denise is famous for her curvaceous figure, and has spent her whole career keeping herself in shape, with strenuous workout regimes and rumored plastic surgery procedures. The model is 5ft 3in (160cm) tall, weighs around 110lbs (50kgs), with vital statistics of 36-20-32, and 34DDD bra size.

Honeytrap Scandal

In November 2011, Denise began talking to a theoretical particle physicist named Paul Frampton, whom she met on the online dating site Mate1.com. At the time, Paul had been working in the physics and astronomy department at the University of North Carolina for over three decades; having divorced three years earlier, he soon began an online relationship with Denise, who frequently told him that she loved him and that she wanted to settle down, have children, and stop being a glamor model.

Although Denise refused to talk to Paul on the phone, she finally agreed to meet him in person after almost three months of online conversation. In January 2012, she asked him to travel to La Paz, Bolivia, where she was doing a photoshoot. Paul, who was 68 years old, left his car at the airport as he didn’t plan to be gone for long. However, things soon began going wrong for the professor.

Firstly, the online ticket that Denise had sent for the Toronto-Santiago stretch of Paul’s journey was invalid, and he was left stranded in the airport for a whole day. Paul arrived in La Paz four days later than he initially planned to do so; although he hoped to meet Denise the next morning, she claimed to be doing a photoshoot in Brussels, and promised that she would send him a ticket to join her there. In the meantime, Paul checked into a hotel and worked on a physics paper.

Eventually, Denise sent the professor a ticket to Buenos Aires, and asked Paul to bring her a bag that she had left in La Paz. During his time in Bolivia, Paul told his long-time friend John Dixon what was going on – John was immediately alarmed and warned Paul not to go, saying that there would be cocaine sewn into the lining of the suitcase. However, John considered the warnings melodramatic and shrugged them off.

Nine days after arriving in Bolivia, an Hispanic man handed Paul a bag in front of his hotel. Paul then wrote to Denise asking why the suitcase, which was empty, was so important to her; she claimed that it had “sentimental value”. Paul then flew from La Paz to Buenos Aires, regularly checking his email and hoping that Denise would send him the coveted ticket to Brussels.

However, when the ticket finally arrived, he had been away from home for over two weeks and ready to return. As such, a friend of Paul’s sent him a ticket to Raleigh. Soon, the professor heard his name called over the loudspeaker and was greeted by several policeman after arriving at the airline counter. Hours later, he was arrested on drug smuggling charges; police had tested the content of Denise’s suitcase, and found 4lb of cocaine.

As it happens, whoever Paul was speaking to online was not Denise. The model was horrified to learn that her photos had been used to trick the scientist into smuggling drugs, for which he would face up to 16 years in prison (Paul’s current legal status remains unclear).

In an interview with the Mail on Sunday shortly after the incident occurred, Denise said: “Like the professor, I am a victim… I do not want people to believe I am involved with drugs.” She also claimed that her email account and Facebook page had been hacked, and that she thought the perpetrators were also behind the honeytrap scandal.

Although Denise expressed sympathy for Paul, who was and possibly still is being held in Villa Devoto prison, she also wondered how he could be so naïve as to fall for the obvious scam. Since then, Denise has managed to stay scandal-free, and Paul’s current whereabouts are unknown.

Regarding Denise’s net worth, the busty model reportedly has $6 million to her name thanks to her modeling work. As mentioned, the fitness trainer has been AWOL for the last few months, but we’ll make sure to update with any relevant news as soon as possible.
