Mina Nicole Starsiak was born on 26 November 1987, in Indianapolis, Indiana USA – her sun sign is Sagittarius and she holds American nationality. Mina is a TV personality, probably best known for starring alongside her mother in the “Good Bones” reality TV show.
Early life and education
Mina was raised with seven siblings in Indianapolis, by her father Casey and her mother Karen Laine. However, her parents divorced when she was still a teenager, after which they tried to work things out and married again, however, the second marriage ended in a divorce as well.
After two divorces, Karen went on to marry Randy, but after she gave birth to their daughter Kelsy, they divorced as well. She married once again, this time to a man named Mick, but divorced him after less than two years together. Her next husband was Roger and the two have been together for years now. Mina’s father remarried, too – his wife Cheryl gave birth to two children named Jess and Tad, before she died.
Mina attended a high school in Indianapolis before enrolling at the University of Indiana, from which she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business and sociology in 2009 – while there, Mina was physically very active, and was running track with notable results.
Career as a TV personality and a businesswoman
Mina launched her career in 2007, when she had her first contract for a house renovation. After several renovations, she founded a real estate company together with her mother, called Two Chicks and a Hammer.
Before this, Mina was working as a waitress for several years, and had no education or experience in renovating when the company was founded.
In 2015, Mina was invited by a casting director of HGTV to star in her own show – “Good Bones” began airing on 22 March 2016 on HGTV, staring both Mina and her mother. Love life and husband
Mina and Stephen Hawk met shortly after she began starring in “Good Bones” – they dated for just a few months before marrying in June 2016; Stephen proposed to Mina while they were on the Indianapolis Colts’ football training field and she said ‘yes’ – their wedding was a rather unusual one, as Mina and Stephen didn’t have a cake but rather served 400 donuts to their guests.
In August 2018 Mina gave birth to their first child they named Jack and she often uploads pictures of the trio onto her social media accounts – Mina and Stephen have also recently adopted a little girl named Jessica, and the family of four is currently residing at their home in Indianapolis, actually living next door to Mina’s mother Karen.
