Michaela Conlin was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania USA, on 9 June 1978 – her zodiac sign is Gemini, and she holds American nationality. She is an actress, probably best known for playing Angela Montenegro in the “Bones” Fox procedural crime comedy drama series.
Early life and education
Michaela was raised with an older sister in Allentown by their mother who is originally from China, and her father who is of Irish descent. Her mother is an accountant while her father is a contractor. She started acting at the age of seven, on stage in regional productions as well as in Pennsylvania community productions.
She studied at Parkland High School where she could have been seen acting in “Bye Bye Birdie” and “The Crucible” plays. After matriculating, she enrolled at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre in 2000. While attending university, she appeared in several plays performed at the Atlantic Theater Company, as well as at the Playwrights Horizons Theatre School, and Stonestreet Studios Conservatory. She also spent some time in Amsterdam, Netherlands where she was part of the Experimental Theatre Wing’s International Training Program.
Career as an actress
Michaela made her debut film appearance portraying Cara in the “Love the Hard Way” crime drama in 2001. She had a small role as a TV reporter in the “Pipe Dream” romantic comedy film in 2002, and in the same year played Marcy in “Garmento”. She took a four-year break from movies until her next role in “Open Window” in 2006, in which she played Miranda. She portrayed May in the “Enchanted” live action/animated musical fantasy romantic comedy film in 2007, and in 2011 was Heidi Sobel in “The Lincoln Lawyer”.
Two of her most recent roles in films have been in “Baby, Baby, Baby” in 2015 in which she portrayed Courtney Lee, and “The Disappointments Room” psychological horror film in 2016, in which she played Jules.

She enjoys going shopping with her sister as well, and the two are keen on tasting various cuisines, especially sweets, and Michaela has stated how they often experiment with buying weird-looking cakes.
