Meredith Hagner was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina USA, on 31 May 1987, so under the zodiac sign of Gemini and holding American nationality – she became popular thanks to her acting career, particularly for her role of Portia in the “Search Party” TBS dark comedy series.
School and early life
Meredith spent her childhood in Chapel Hill with her parents Karen and Roald Hagner, but hasn’t talked about them as she appreciates their privacy as much as her own – she hasn’t talked about having any siblings which is why most people believe her to be an only child, however, she has an older sister named Kerry Hagner who was born with Downs Syndrome.
Meredith’s interest in acting was born when she was around five years old, watching TV movies and series, and working on her own acting skills she practiced in her bedroom. She studied at the Chapel Hill High School, and after she matriculated in 2005 enrolled at the Boston Conservatory. However, Meredith studied there only for a year as she was offered her first role in New York City, and therefore quit school and permanently moved to live there.

She won her first role in 2008 when she played Liberty Ciccone in 164 episodes of “As the World Turns” CBS daytime soap opera – she was praised for her performance, and it instantly made her name recognized in the film industry. The series also won her a nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series – she was part of the cast for two years before leaving the show in March 2010.
Her next role was in 13 episodes of “Lights Out” FX drama series in 2011, followed by a role in the “Awakening” series but unfortunately for her, the series didn’t get to air a single episode. The two were an instant match when they met on the set of the “Folk Hero & Funny Guy” comedy movie in 2016. They began their relationship only a couple of days later, and were together for nearly three years before marrying in 2019 – Meredith showed the engagement ring she has from Wyatt in December 2018, and admitted that Wyatt asking her to marry him caught her by surprise.
