He’s appeared in close to 50 movies and TV series, while he’s perhaps still known best for his portrayal of the lead character Marcus Copeland in the 2004 crime comedy movie “White Chicks”.
It was written and directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, also starred Shawn Wayans and Busy Philips, and follows two black FBI agents who are pretending to be white girls, in an attempt to prevent the wealthy Wilson sisters from being kidnapped; the movie won three of the 16 awards for which it was nominated.
Marlon was raised in New York City alongside his nine older siblings, by their father Howell Stouten Wayans who was the manager of a supermarket, and their mother Elvira Alethia (nee Green) who was a housewife; the majority of Marlon’s siblings have all ventured into the film industry.
