Personal Life
Marjorie and Steve have known each other since 1990, when they met at a comedy club, and it was apparently a ‘love at first sight’ moment. However, he was not ready to commit long term and abruptly left the relationship, partly because he was still married to Marcia Harvey, whom he eventually divorced in 1994. The two moved on, and two years later he married Mary Shackelford, a marriage which ended on a bad note following numerous allegations from his partner during the time of their divorce settlement. He has four children from his first two marriages.
In 2005, Marjorie reconnected with Steve, and the two stayed close friends while their relationship deepened, leading them to start dating. They married in 2007, and Steve has been vocal about his wife being the reason for a big change for the better in his life. They have three children together, and now have at least five grandchildren.
