Dareh Ardashes grew up one of three children. His father is the president of the Carnegie Corporation of New York, which is a philanthropic fund established by one of the richest Americans in history, Andrew Carnegie, and set up to support education programs around the world. His father previously served as the president of the New York Public Library, and Brown University.

His mother, on the other hand, served as the chairwoman of Literacy Partners in Manhattan – the goal of which is to help bring better futures to children by giving them the gift of literacy.

At a young age, he developed his interest in politics, current affairs, and journalism. After matriculating from high school, he enrolled at Boston University to complete a bachelor’s degree. The private university has over 33,000 students enrolled, offers numerous programs and is considered one of the top global universities as ranked by the publication “US News & World Report”.

After completing his degree, Gregorian began working for “The New York Observer” as a researcher and reporter. Her coverage of the Trump administration has led her to win a Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting, which she shared with colleagues of “The New York Times”. She also won the Front Page Award for Journalist of the Year and the Aldo Beckman Memorial Award which is given by the White House Correspondents’ Association. She has been heavily criticized by President Donald Trump due to her support of Hilary Clinton, and her reports criticizing the current administration.

Personal Life

Dareh Ardashes met Maggie when they were both working for the “New York Post”.

The two started a relationship and eventually married in 2003 in a ceremony held at the Tribeca Rooftop in Manhattan, New York. The couple has three children, and currently reside in Brooklyn, New York.
