Her coverage of the Trump administration has led her to win a Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting, which she shared with colleagues of “The New York Times”. She also won the Front Page Award for Journalist of the Year and the Aldo Beckman Memorial Award which is given by the White House Correspondents’ Association. She has been heavily criticized by President Donald Trump due to her support of Hilary Clinton, and her reports criticizing the current administration.
Dareh Ardashes met Maggie when they were both working for the “New York Post”.
The two started a relationship and eventually married in 2003 in a ceremony held at the Tribeca Rooftop in Manhattan, New York. The couple has three children, and currently reside in Brooklyn, New York.
Both of them have expressed their frustration at covering the Trump administration, due to all of the negative attention the President and journalists have gotten. Trump himself is very averse to any conflict in small gatherings with journalists, compared to his outlook on social media.
