Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon was born famous, as she is the first child of the highly-accomplished and popular singer/actress, Madonna and her mother’s then partner Carlos Manuel Leon, who started off as a personal trainer for celebrities and went on to establish himself as a well-known actor.
Lourdes, also known as “Lola”, was born in Los Angeles, California USA, on 14th October 1996, and now at the age of 23, seems set to follow in her mother’s footsteps and is making a name for herself as a singer and a model.

Carlos, Lourdes’ father, was born on 19 July 1966 in Cuba, and is now resident in New York City. Madonna and Carlos met in about 1995 when Carlos was Madonna’s fitness trainer. Madonna was working on the musical film, “Evita”, at the time, which she took very seriously, so when she fell pregnant with Lourdes, she worried that it would compromise her role in the movie.
