Lisa Maria Boothe is a journalist, who gained recognition after she started working for Fox News, while she also serves as a host of the “Outnumbered” TV show. She was born in West Virginia USA on 3 February 1985, and therefore holds American nationality while her birth sign is Aquarius.
Childhood and education
Lisa was born to Jeffrey Ferris and Dianne Marie who were both politicians – her father Jeffrey worked for a US Senator before he began studying , while her mother Dianne is now a housewife; Lisa has three sisters. Her veteran grandfather Carl Wilkinson died due to problems with diabetes in 2016. Lisa Marie grew up in Washington D.C., and was physically very active as she played lacrosse and field hockey in high school, which she led to win two state championships. However, she tore her anterior cruciate ligament and had to undergo reconstructive surgery, which ended her uprising in sports. She continued her education at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, from which she graduated in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and development.
Career as a journalist
Her career began that year when she joined the US House of Representatives as a staff assistant. She held the job for three years before joining the National Republican Congressional Committee, where she stayed for two years – in 2012, she began working for Sandra Adams, the US Representative for Florida’s 24th congressional district, as her spokeswoman. Moving forward, she was invited to serve as the spokeswoman for Tommy Thompson, a Republican politician who was a state legislator in Wisconsin and then 42nd Governor of the state. Lisa Marie went on to work for several other politicians, including Sandy Adams once again, Shelley Moore Capito, and Mark Meadows. Some of her most popular written works include “President Obama Has Left the Middle-Class Behind”, and “Hillary Clinton and the wealth factor. Is she 2016’s Mitt Romney?”
In 2014, she worked for the Black Rock Group as their senior director, before she founded her High Noon Strategies political communication and public affairs firm, of which she is now its president. She started writing for “The Washington Examiner” political journalism website and weekly magazine in 2016, and quit in October 2017 – at around the same time, she began writing for “The Hill” and “The Washington Times” magazines, and is still their contributor.
Today, Lisa is working for the Fox News network, and can often be seen co-hosting two of their shows – “The Five” panel talk, and “Outnumbered” daytime news and talk show – she also serves as a panelist in the “Special Report” news and political commentary program, and often appears as a guest in “The Story” news and talk program.

Lisa is dating John Bourbonia Cummins, a businessman – the two met for the first time in 2013. John is a graduate of Davidson College in Washington D.C., and is currently working as the director of the US Policy Communications and Media at Merck. Rumor has it that the two married sometime in 2018 , but another rumour is that they have already divorced.

Lisa is very fond of travelling, but her favorite travel destination isn’t very far – Annapolis in Maryland where her mother is living – she goes there several times each year as she enjoys spending quality time with her mom. She is a lover of animals and has a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel pet dog named Bella for whom she paid around $2,500. She likes spending her spare time in nature and enjoys visiting national parks, forests, and climbing mountains – she is also keen on being near the water, and has recently visited Porto in Portugal.
