She is definitely best known to the world thanks to her long-term romantic involvement with actor, comedian and podcast host Bobby Lee, with whom she has been hosting the “TigerBelly” podcast since 2015. It was long ago revealed in the podcast that Bobby Lee has been an old friend of adult film actress Asa Akira for a substantial amount of time, and she confirmed this with a personal visit in the middle of October 2019. The episode with her was an exception, hence dubbed one of the few specials of “TigerBelly”.
