Childhood and education

Julia spent her entire childhood in Russia alongside her parents who do not wish to be involved in media, and are not very proud of Julia’s career of a weightlifter as they believe this is not something a girl should do – Julia appears to be an only child as she hasn’t mentioned having any siblings.

She was somewhat popular during her high school years thanks to her attractive looks, however, she was not happy with her physique and lacked confidence – this is why she decided to start going to the gym as she wanted to become stronger and get to love her body. Julia had a choice between powerlifting and kettlebell lifting, as her school had coaches only for these two disciplines – Julia knew she wasn’t able to do her exercises without a good coach, so decided to go for powerlifting.

She started her training sessions slowly, and although it was not easy at first, Julia soon fell in love with powerlifting and the feeling of strength which it gave her – once she gained enough confidence, she began entering competitions, but it doesn’t seem that she has managed to win any of these She has set three records for herself, which are doing squats with 235kg, bench pressing 140kg, and deadlift with 190kg.

Julia is a YouTuber as well, as she launched her channel on 9 September 2013 and there are currently more than 75,000 people subscribed to it while it also counts more than six million views of all her videos combined. She mostly uploads videos of her everyday life, while one can also occasionally find videos at the gym in which she offers advice and tips to all those who are interested in doing weightlifting.

Julia usually has five training sessions per week, and during one or two of these sessions she does her cardio exercises.   • On Wednesdays she works on her shoulders and triceps by doing military press, seated dumbbell shoulder press, lateral raises, front raises, rear delta dumbbell raises, and triceps which she does on Tuesdays;
  • Thursdays are for legs and calves and she does the same exercises as on Mondays;
  • Fridays are for triceps, back, chest, and biceps – Julia does weighed pull-ups, latt pull-downs, T-bar rows, deadlifts, barbell biceps curls, and dumbbell hammer curls.

When it comes to her diet, Julia has an intake of 3000 calories per day, and has stated how she avoids fast carbohydrates, and instead prefers sweet potatoes, brown rice, and healthy fats. She eats chicken, eggs, and fish as her main source of protein, and allows herself a cheat day durig the week when she eats whatever she desires.

Julia uses a few supplements including branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) supplement, creatine, vitamins, glutamine, and fish oil, and has stated that she has never used steroids.

Love life and relationships

Julia is a bit secretive when it comes to her love life, as she hasn’t shared much with the public about her past and present relationships.

Julia dated a man named Sergei back in 2017 as she uploaded the pictures of them together onto her Instagram account.
