A year after his appearance in “The Conjuring”, John had a support role in the film “Guardians of the Galaxy”. The superhero film is based on the Marvel Comics team of the same name and is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), directed by James Gunn, starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper. The film proved to be a critical and commercial success, becoming the highest grossing superhero film of the year.
