Who is JD Pardo?
American actor Jorge Daniel ‘JD’ Pardo was born in Los Angeles, California USA, on 7 September 1980, making Virgo his zodiac sign. He has 47 acting credits and is perhaps known best for playing Nahuel in the 2012 adventure fantasy movie “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2”, which starred Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, and was directed by Bill Condon. It follows the war between the vampires and the werewolves, and the film won 21 of its 36 award nominations.
JD’s today highly active in the film industry, and as of mid-2023 is shooting for the upcoming movie “Road House”, as well as for new episodes of the series “Mayans M. C.”
Education and early life
JD was raised in Los Angeles by his parents who prefer to stay away from media, which is why JD doesn’t usually speak about them in public; he hasn’t disclosed whether or not he has siblings, and most of JD’s fans believe him to be an only child.
He became interested in acting while attending a local high school, and was also passionate about sports during his teenage years; JD was a huge American Football fan, and still today cheers for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL).
He matriculated in 1999, and then found work to financially support himself, while attending acting auditions.
Roles in TV series
JD’s debut TV series role was playing Nick in two episodes of the 2001 romantic drama “Titans”, and the same year saw him play Boy #1 in the episode “Perfect Dad” of the family comedy “My Wife and Kids”.
In 2002, JD appeared in an episode of both the family comedy “So Little Time” and the comedy “One on One”, and the year 2004 saw him play Private Matt Perez in 11 episodes of the historical family drama “American Dreams”, which starred Tom Verica and Gail O’Grady, and was created by Jonathan Prince. It follows a family living in the US in the ‘60s, the series aired from 2002 through 2005, and won 10 of its 37 award nominations. The remainder of the decade saw JD appear in the crime mystery “Veronica Mars”, the family sports drama “Clubhouse”, and the romantic comedy “The O. C.”
From 2012 through 2014, he portrayed Jason Neville in 40 episodes of the action adventure “Revolution”, which starred Billy Burke and Tracy Spiridakos, and was created by Eric Kripke. Set in the post-apocalyptic US, the series follows a group of revolutionaries who want to take down a tyrannical new militia – it won four of its 15 award nominations.
Some of JD’s most recent TV series roles have been in the 2019 episode “The B-Team” of the comedy “Tacoma FD”, five episodes of the 2022 action thriller “The Terminal List” and 46 episodes of the crime thriller “Mayans M. C.” since 2018 (lead role).
Roles in movies
JD’s debut film role was playing Ernesto in the 2002 family western “Hope Ranch”, and the year 2004 saw him play Ryan in the critically acclaimed romantic family comedy “A Cinderella Story”, which starred Chad Michael Murray and Hilary Duff, and was directed by Mark Rosman. It follows Samantha Montgomery who’s excited about meeting a boy with whom she’s been chatting on the internet, and the film won six of its 14 award nominations. Some of JD’s following roles were in 2005 in the crime drama “Havoc” and the 2005 romantic action “Supercross”, and in 2006 the biographical drama “A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story”.
In 2008, he portrayed Young Santiago in the romantic crime drama “The Burning Plain”, which starred John Corbett and Charlize Theron, and was written and directed by Guillermo Arriaga. It follows a girl and her mother as they’re trying to bond after the girl’s difficult childhood; the movie was nominated for five awards, winning two.
JD’s since had only a couple of film roles, with his three most recent having been in the 2021 action crime thriller “F9: The Fast Saga”, the 2022 action thriller “The Contractor”, and the 2023 action mystery thriller “Hypnotic”.

JD received special thanks for the 2013 short romantic movie “Zero Hour”.
He produced 12 episodes of the 2016 drama series “East Los High” and 16 episodes of the 2022 series “Mayans M. C.”

Love life and wife
Even though JD prefers to keep his love life away from media, we still known that he’s today a married man and a father of two. He and American non-celebrity Emily Frlekin exchanged vows in a small ceremony in 2010, attended by only those closest to them; Emily has blue eyes and blonde hair; her profession remains undisclosed, but some of JD’s fans believe her to be a high school teacher, which hasn’t been confirmed.
JD and Emily have a son and a daughter together, but their names and birthdates haven’t been disclosed.
There are no other women whom JD’s been with, that we know about; he’s married to Emily Frlekin as of June 2023, and they have two children together.
Interesting facts and hobbies
JD’s passionate about music, and has revealed that the websites which he checks most often are Guitar Tabs and iTunes.
He’s physically highly active, and has been passionate about playing soccer since his pre-teens; he grew up enjoying watching Argentinian soccer, as his father was from Argentina; JD’s mother’s from El Salvador.
In a not-so-recent interview, JD revealed that the most embarrassing song on his iPod was “You Belong With Me” by Taylor Swift.
Nearly 400,000 people are following him on Instagram today, and he’s posted 111 pictures and videos, with most of these showing JD during his everyday life.
Robert Downey Jr. is one of his favorite actors, and some of his favorite movies include “The Judge”, “Iron Man 2” and “The Avengers”.

JD’s age is 42. He has brown hair and eyes, is 5ft 11ins (1.8m) tall and weighs around 170lbs (78kgs).
