His mother took him to the casting, and he landed the role of Eli in two episodes of “Blunt Talk” in 2015: “The Queen of Hearts” and “Meth or No Meth, You Still Gotta Floss” aired on 19 September and 3 October respectively. Jason landed the role of Oliver in the TV movie “The Perfect Stanleys”, also released in 2015, with Jason sharing the screen with Matt Letscher, Liza Lapira and Jenna Elfman.
In February 2016 he was cast as Bratty Son in the TV sitcom “Workaholics”, appearing in the episode entitled “Night at the Dudeseum”. On 6 April 2017 Jason appeared as Leo in NBC’s sitcom “Superstone” in the episode entitled “Glenn’s Kids”, then played Levi Grayson in the series “Raven’s Home”, in which Anneliese van der Pol portrayed his on-screen mother, Chelsea Grayson – the series gained Jason a big wave of popularity, as it also featured such talented actors as Sky Katz, Raven-Symoné and Issac Ryan Brown. Jason participated in the dance show “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors”, Season 1, in October 2018, paired with young professional dancer Elliana Walmsley, who is famous for her appearance in the super popular dance show “Dance Moms” and was trained by the legendary Abby Lee Miller. Emma Slater, the choreographer and professional dancer, acted as their mentor. Their first dance was a cha-cha-cha, performed to the song “Bills” by LunchMoney Lewis. For the second show Jason and Elliana jived to the Metro Station music band’s song “Shake It”.
The third week was harder, though Jason and Elliana made it to complete the competition stage safe, performing a foxtrot to Jordan Fisher and Olivia Hot’s “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”, which was included in the soundtrack of “Toy Story”, the animation movie; Jason and Elliana wore costumes of the main characters of the cartoon. Week 4 went easier for Jason, as he performed the Argentine tango brilliantly, portraying a vampire to the song “Youngblood” by 5 Seconds of Summer. The fifth week of the show was the last one for Jason and Elliana, as their jazz dance couldn’t keep them from being eliminated. It is worth saying that the show also had Mackenzie Ziegler in the cast of professional dancers; Mackenzie is the younger sister of Madison “Maddie” Ziegler, the star of Sia’s series of music videos, including “Chandelier”, “Elastic Heart” and “Cheap Thrills”.
