The show is based on the “Song of Fire & Ice” novels written by George R.R. Martin. In the show, he portrayed Grey Worm, the leader of the group of soldiers called the Unsullied.

The show effectively helped launch his music career, as he signed with Columbia Records in 2013, releasing two Extended Plays (EPs) in succession. In 2016, he released his debut album called “You’re a Man now Boy”, which reached the Official Albums Chart during its debut but dropped off due to poor sales.
