Cooper Archibald Manning was born in New Orleans, Louisiana USA, on 6 March 1974 – his zodiac sign is Pisces, and he holds American nationality. He’s an entrepreneur and TV personality, who’s probably known best for the work which he’s done for the channels Fox Sports, especially for hosting his own show “The Manning Hour”.

Early life and education

Cooper was raised in New Orleans alongside his younger brothers Peyton Manning and Eli Manning, who both became star footballers, by their father Archie Archibald Manning III, who’s an American former football quarterback and who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 years, and their mother Olivia Manning who was a model.

Cooper grew up looking up to his father and wanting to become a professional Football Player. He started playing the sport as a wide receiver while attending Isidore Newman School, and attracted a lot of attention during his senior year, and thanks to his skill, Cooper was offered a scholarship from the University of Mississippi; while he was there for practices during summer, he felt numbness in his toes and fingers, and was told by doctors that he was suffering from spinal stenosis, and this marked the end of his football dreams.

He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1996.

Cooper’s career

Following graduation, Cooper became a partner at the energy investment boutique Scotia Howard Weil, which has offices in both New Orleans and Houston. It organizes an annual energy conference which is attended by representatives of top-level investors, both private and public energy companies, and various other companies; Cooper quit being a partner after having launched his career as a TV personality.

In January 2012, he hosted his own segment “Manning on the Street” of the syndicated radio and TV sports talk-show “The Dan Patrick Show”, then on 13 September 2015, Cooper joined the sports TV program “Fox NFL Kickoff” as one of their sportscasters.

Cooper began working at the private real estate company Adventurous Journeys (AJ) Capital Partners in 2014, and it was two years later that he became their principal and senior managing director of investor relations, thus joining the executive team; for the job, he had to move to Chicago, Illinois.

Most recently, in 2021, Cooper hosted the student quiz show “College Bowl” together with his brother Peyton.
