She grew up being physically active, which is quite common for children living in the mountains. Her father is partly credited with this, as he often took her cycling and taught her how to shoot, use tools, set up camps, and numerous other things – as he doesn’t have a son, he taught her as if she was his son.

Heather was very focused on her studies, and was one of the best students at her high school – after she matriculated, she enrolled at Oregon State University, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science.

Heather’s acting career and other jobs

Heather began with her modelling career before going into acting. It was about this time that she adopted her professional name, but there’s no information as to how it was derived.
