She grew up being physically active, which is quite common for children living in the mountains. Her father is to be credited with this, as he often took her cycling and taught her how to shoot a gun, use tools, set up camps, and numerous other things – as he doesn’t have a son, he taught her as if she was his son.
Heather was very focused on her studies, and was one of the best students at her high school – after she matriculated, she enrolled at Oregon State University, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science.
Heather’s acting career and other jobs
Heather first launched her modelling career before going into acting. It was about this time that she adopted her professional name, but no information as to how it was derived. She became a fitness model after being noticed by a modelling scout, and subsequently appeared on numerous cover pages of fitness magazines, while also posing for worldwide known clothing brands and companies. She would later become a fitness trainer, and launch her own business – Black Lab is the company she founded, which is creating cocktails and numerous mixes of drinks while being eco-friendly. Heather is mostly popular for hosting the “Garage Squad” TV series – it revolves around people accepting vehicles which are in horrible condition, and the Squad team then fixes them and gives them back to their owners.
Other than that, Heather has also been a host of the “Street Turner Challenge” TV series.
Heather has produced her own show entitled “The Mix Down”, during which she shares her own cocktail recipes while listening to electronic dance music – the series is a bit hit on the internet. She has appeared in several movies, such as “MANswers”, “No Bad Days”, “Paku Kuntilanak”, and “Surviving Disasters” among others.
She is also a bit of a YouTuber – she launched her channel on 29 September 2010, and there are currently nearly 6,000 people subscribed to it, while it counts more than 150,000 views of all her videos combined. Rumor has it that the popular TV host was dating an actor back in 1994 after the two met during one of her photoshoots. They were allegedly dating for several years before calling it quits in 2001, due to a lack of passion – at the same time, Heather fell in love with another actor, and started a relationship with him which would last only for a year before the two called it quits.
Some people believe that she was married once and divorced in 2011, but this hasn’t been confirmed by Heather who prefers to keep her personal matters to herself. Judging by her social media accounts, she is currently single, hasn’t been married, and doesn’t have any kids.

Heather enjoys spending her free time in the nature surrounded by trees and mountains as that’s what she grew up surrounded by – she has visited many national parks in numerous countries and still does this whenever she travels to a new country. She is a big lover of animals and believes that these are a lot better than humans, and that the animals would do a lot better without us.
