Who is Mark Foster?
Mark is an American musician and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the indie pop band Foster the People. Formed in 2009, the band gained widespread recognition with their hit single “Pumped Up Kicks”, which earned them a Grammy Award nomination.

Mark Derek Foster was born on 29 February 1984, in Milpitas, California, USA, however, he spent his childhood just outside of Cleveland, Ohio. Foster the People’s Formation and Rise to Stardom
In 2009, Foster’s dreams took a new direction when he formed the band Foster the People. Collaborating with Mark Pontius and Jacob “Cubbie” Fink, Foster embarked on a musical endeavor that would propel him to stardom.
