Who is FaZe Rug? Wiki Bio
Brian Awadis, better known online as FaZe Rug (before that – oRugrat), was born in San Diego, California USA, on 19 November 1996, so his zodiac sign is Scorpio and he holds American nationality. Rug is a YouTuber, best known for his funny videos in which he usually does pranks and challenges; he is also a member of the FaZe Clan, and is serving as their director.
Early life and education
Rug was raised with his older brother Brandon in San Diego, by his parents who were both born in Iraq – the two are often mentioned in his videos, with Rug referring to them as Mama and Papa Rug. Rug attended a local high school in San Diego where he learned how to play football, soccer, and then learned how to ride a skateboard with the help of his brother.
He launched his YouTube channel while still attending high school, and after matriculation decided not to pursue a college degree, but to work online (YouTube). Rug’s parents were not very supportive of the idea, but nevertheless allowed him to do what he wanted.
While at high school, Rug resembled Rico from the “Hannah Montana” TV comedy series, and was often asked if he really was Rico, so much so that after a while he simply said ‘yes’.

Rug launched his YouTube channel on 11 July 2012 marking the beginning of his career on the internet. His description section reads ‘Thanks for stopping by my channel! 23 year old making dope videos for you beautiful humans. Make sure to hit that subscribe button I promise you won’t regret it :’ The channel now counts over 14 million subscribers and nearly three billion views combined of all his videos. He gained recognition for his sense of humor and for pranking his parents, brother and friends.

Clout Gang was launched by FaZe Banks, and is a group of web stars such as Instagram models and YouTubers. The group was launched as a response to Team 10 group, which is a group of YouTubers chosen by Jake Paul who are living together and are vlogging about their everyday adventures – Clout Gang’s specific aim is to mock Team 10.
Rug can often be seen collaborating with other YouTubers such as Alissa Violet and Sommer Ray. He has three other YouTube channels, which are “Brawadis” (he runs it with his brother and it has nearly four million subscribers), “MOLLY ESKAM” (his girlfriend’s channel which they are running together and which has over 570,000 subscribers), and “Mama Rug and Papa Rug” (featuring Rug’s family and has nearly 1.2 million subscribers).

Rug likes playing video games in his spare time, but is not nearly as good as his FaZe friends who are all professional gamers, competing in national tournaments in several games.
Rug enjoys eating pizza and drinking a cappuccino early in the morning; his favorite brand is Nike; he enjoys travelling and reading, and likes watching movies late at night, with his favorite actor and actress being Keanu Reeves and Emma Watson, while his favorite movies are the “Matrix” trilogy and the “Harry Potter” franchise.

FaZe Clan
FaZe Clan is an American esports and entertainment organization which competes at various video game tournaments, and was founded by Housecat, ClipZ, and Resistance on 30 May 2010. The members have changed throughout the years, but the main four members and owners of the Clan remain FaZe Temperrr, FaZe Apex, FaZe Banks, and FaZe Rain.
Some of the games the Clan is competing at include “Call of Duty”, “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive”, and “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege”, while they are best at “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive” having won several tournaments including internationals.
In May 2019, Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney, a former FaZe member, filed a lawsuit against the Clan stating that they deprived him of business opportunities, took up to 80 percent of his earnings, and pushed him into gambling and drinking while he was underage. FaZe has denied the accusations – the lawsuit is still open.
