Erica Schmidt was born on the 8th of June 1975 in the USA; for now, her childhood remains a mystery, until she graduated from Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, New York State in 1997.
During her studies, she was a part of the comedy group Laughing Stock, with which she participated in comedic performances, competing with other comedy groups.
Erica started working as a costume designer at Juilliard in New York, where she learned enough to start seeking new enterprises, and joined as a deck stage manager at the St. Mark’s Youth and Young Adult Theatre Ministries. One of the major productions on which she worked was “Jesus Christ, Superstar”, then she made her directing debut in 2000 with the play “As You Like It”.

Just two years later, Erica reached national fame with the plays “Spanish Girl” (2002) and “Debbie Does Dallas” (2003), both of which became hits. Erica extended her portfolio with such plays as “People Be Heard” in 2004 and “Uncle Varya” in 2008, while in 2009, she had yet another stellar performance with “Humor Abuse”, which is her best-known creation so far. Since then, Erica has worked on such plays as “The Burnt Part Boys” (2009), “Invasion” (2011), and “Cyrano” (2018).
Despite her successful career, Erica’s popularity was further boosted when she became the wife of Peter Dinklage, who at the time was the star of the series “Game of Thrones”.

He has a brother, Jonathan. Peter is affected by the form of dwarfism known as achondroplasia; he has a normal size head and torso, however, his limbs are shorter than average. He learned to accept his condition, and used all the benefits of it that he could.
He went to the Catholic preparatory school for boys, Delbarton School, where he honed his acting skills, and then enrolled at Bennington College. Peter studied drama, and before graduation, had featured in several productions.
Peter moved to New York once he finished his college, and with his friend Ian Bell started a theater company. However, their plan fell through, and Peter then worked at a data processing company for six years, before he returned to pursuing acting as a full-time career.

However, in 1995 he had his first major role, as Tito in the film “Living in Oblivion”. With the start of the 2010s, Peter was becoming more popular, and became a star once he assumed the role of Tyrion Lannister in the fantasy drama series “Game of Thrones”, based on the books by George R. R. Martin.
