Who is Alexis Rodman?

Alexis was born in Los Angeles, California USA, in 1988 – her exact date of birth remains undisclosed, but her zodiac sign is believed to be Virgo, and she holds American nationality. She’s a social media personality who’s probably only known for being the daughter of Dennis Rodman, a famous American retired professional basketball player.

Early life and education

Alexis was raised as an only child in Los Angeles, by her father and her mother Annie Bakes; her parents married in September 1992, divorced less than three months later, but were apparently both equally involved in her upbringing. Alexis has a paternal half-sister Trinity and half-brother Dennis Jr,, whose mother is Michelle Moyer; Trinity is a professional soccer player, while Dennis Jr. is a college basketball player.

Alexis has kept the details of her early life away from the media’s attention, but it’s widely known that she was physically quite active while attending a local high school, and that she played a couple of sports with her peers.

She matriculated in 2006 and although she hasn’t spoken of her further education, most of Alexis’ fans believe that she enrolled at college, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2010.

Alexis’ career

Alexis prefers to stay away from the media’s attention, and hasn’t spoken of any jobs which she might have worked, however, some of her father’s fans believe that she’s today working as a real estate agent in Los Angeles.

Love life and boyfriend

Alexis prefers to keep the details of her love life away from the media’s attention too, and hasn’t spoken of any men or women whom she has perhaps been with, which is mostly why there are various rumors circulating the internet, concerning both her sexual orientation and past and present relationships.

Some people believe Alexis to be lesbian, claiming that this is the reason behind her not speaking of the men whom she’s dated; a fan has also claimed to have seen Alexis kissing her girlfriend in public, but no evidence has been provided to support these claims, nor has Alexis commented on this.

There are also those who think that she’s today in a relationship with a non-celebrity American man, or even married to him, but that she simply prefers not to share this with the public; this hasn’t been confirmed either.

As of April 2022, Alexis seems to be single, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Hobbies and other interests

Alexis loves basketball, and can occasionally be seen watching live games with her father; she also played a bit of basketball while attending high school.

She’s into travelling, and has been to several US states, mostly because her father has taken her with him on many occasions.

Alexis is a lover of animals, and her favorites are horses and dogs; she has had a couple of pet dogs and cats.

She’s physically highly active and has multiple training sessions at the gym every week, thus her slim figure.

Alexis likes to watch movies in her spare time – her favorite actor and actress are Robert Downey Jr. and Natalie Portman, while a couple of her favorite films include “Iron Man”, “V for Vendetta” and “Leon: The Professional”.

Age, height and net worth

Alexis’ age is either 33 or 34. She has long curly brown hair and brown eyes, her height is 5ft 10ins (1.8m) and she weighs around 155lbs (70kgs).

As of April 2022, Alexis’ net worth has been estimated at more than $50,000, while her father Dennis’ net worth is reputedly more than $500,000.

Who is her father Dennis Rodman?

Dennis Keith Rodman was born in Trenton, New Jersey USA, on 13 May 1961 – his zodiac sign is Taurus, and he holds American nationality. He’s today an unofficial US peace ambassador to North Korea, while he’s known best for his basketball career, during which he played for five teams of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Dennis was raised alongside his sisters Debra and Kim in Dallas, Texas, by their father Philander Rodman, Jr. who was in the US Air Force and fought in the Vietnam War, and their mother Shirley who was a housewife; Philander abandoned the family when Dennis was still very young, and he settled in the Philippines. According to Dennis, his mother and father have a total of 47 children with various people, with him being the eldest.

He began playing basketball when he was around 10 years old, and started thinking about making it a career while attending South Oak Cliff High School. He matriculated in 1979, and in 1982 enrolled at Cooke County College, now renamed North Central Texas College, but soon transferred to Southeastern Oklahoma State University due to poor grades, but still graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 1986.

Dennis made himself eligible for the 1986 NBA Draft, and was picked by the Detroit Pistons; he had a bad first season, but then helped the Pistons reach the 1988 NBA Finals, which they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers. They went on to beat the Lakers in the following year, and thus win the 1989 NBA Finals; Dennis won his second title in 1990, when the Pistons defeated the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA Finals.

He was traded to the San Antonio Spurs in 1993, but his time with the team was plagued by incidents caused by Dennis’ behavior; he headbutted both John Stockton and Stacey King during his time there, refused to leave the hardwood once, and had a highly publicized affair with American singer-songwriter Madonna. Dennis was thus traded to the Chicago Bulls in 1995, and with whom he won the 1996 NBA Finals against the Seattle SuperSonics; the Bulls also won the 1997 NBA Finals, when they defeated the Utah Jazz, and the 1998 NBA Finals, when they beat them again.

He joined the Los Angeles Lakers in 1999, and then the Dallas Mavericks in the following year; Dennis retired in 2000 but returned to basketball in 2003, when he signed a contract with the Long Beach Jam of the American Basketball Association (ABA), helping them win the ABA Championship.

He played with Fuerza Regia in Mexico in 2004, and then with the Orange County Crush of the ABA in 2005, then for the Tijuana Dragons of the ABA in 2006, retiring in the same year, following three games with the Brighton Bears of the British Basketball League.

Dennis is also a former professional wrestler, and competed in World Championship Wrestling in both 1997 and 1999.

He was once addicted to alcohol, and entered a rehabilitation facility on two occasions: once in May 2008, and the second time on 15 January 2014.

Dennis is also an author, and has published five books: his first was “Rebound: The Dennis Rodman Story” published in 1994, while his most recent book, “Dennis the Wild Bull” came out in 2013.
