David Reed Bromstad was born on the 17th of August 1973, in Cokato, Minnesota, USA, to Diane Marlys and Richard Harold Bromstad, who have Swedish-German and Norwegian origins. David has three older siblings: Dean Richard, Dynelle Renee and Dyonne Rachael Bromstad.

Growing up, David had a strong interest in art and design and focused on it even after his matriculation from Wayzata High School in Plymouth, Minnesota. While in school David was determined to pursue a career as a Disney animator, and so attended Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, which was a famous base for careers with Disney. Must say that I just read your attitude about life and I couldn’t agree more. The pains of my life have shown me the blessings the Lord has bestowed on my in the past 2 years.
