Claire Hosterman Age, Early Life, Family, and Education Background

Claire was born under the Pisces Zodiac sign on 10 March 1989, in Seattle, Washington State, USA, making her 30 years old in 2019. Her parents are Bonnie Wallace and Philip Alan Hosterman – she has part-French and Scottish descent, and is an American by nationality and belongs to white ethnicity.

Claire has a younger sister named Dove, who is a famous Disney Channel star. The two sisters grew up together in Seattle, and have been very close since childhood.

With a broken family, and one parent absent, Claire became even closer to her sister. She also acted as an elder sister to her younger sister’s boyfriend, Ryan McCartan. Unfortunately, this relationship ended even before it could bloom. Claire matriculated in 2007 from Bainbridge High School, and proceeded to Pitzer College in California to pursue a degree in anthropology.

Since she was talented, Claire gained experience by formally studying voice and taking part in several events. In 2008, she appeared on stage at the Bainbridge Performing Arts, a Young Playwrights Festival, and also worked as Steven Fogell’s apprentice as assistant director for the production of “Les Miserables,” a BPA Camp Teen Bainbridge production.

Due to her hard work and dedication, she was recognized and named the Emerging Artists of 2008 Seventh Annual Amy Award winner.

This award is normally presented by Arts & Humanities Bainbridge every year to a young artist who continues to exhibit a sense of creativity, quality, dedication, and exploration of his/her field of art. Soon afterwards, she had an opportunity to direct several BPA and Bainbridge High School productions single-handedly.

Claire also wanted to teach music, and viewed it as a chance to reach out to the world, making people realize their worth. She began by opening her own studio in Burbank for private voice lessons, and it turned out the most renowned among parents and young students alike.

Although she was skeptical about the efficiency of Skype at first, due to poor sound quality, when she realized the significant potential of this idea, Claire strived to perfect her skills to overcome all obstacles in offering online lessons. She came up with tailor-made lessons that required a lot of hard work, however, her efforts paid off, and her venture turned out to be a big success that brought her name into the world music map.

Claire believes that every person can sing, and all they need is to find the appropriate technique for their voice to bloom. She is famous for her fantastic patience with her students, and is known to teach with affection and love. She considers her biggest reward to be the posts that her students put on social media, praising her nature and approach to teaching voice technique.

Today, Claire teaches singing to people of different ages at beginners’ level to help them with the right technique.

She focuses on different singing styles including R&B, Pop, Musical Theater, Rock, and Opera. She uses an holistic and kinaesthetic singing approach, while tailoring lessons to every student’s requirements.
