He matriculated in 1993 and went on to attend the Hampden Sydney College, graduating in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree, and beginning work straight afterwards.

Chris launched his career with the Wheeling Intelligencer company based in West Virginia, using this job to gather additional knowledge, and then moving to work for the Charleston Daily Mail in 1998 for six years,during which he served as their political editor.
He then moved to West Virginia Media Holdings where he stayed for the next three years. He became somewhat popular in 2007 after winning a job for “The Washington Examiner” political weekly magazine, where he served as a political editor. Chris rose to prominence after he began working for the Fox News Channel, on some of their most popular shows such as “The Kelly File” and “Perino & Stirewalt: I’ll Tell You What” – which although initially only a podcast, it received such good reviews and was very popular that it was later made into a TV show.
