She played several sports while at high school such as women soccer, volleyball, and lacrosse, while she also ran track, but taking her mother’s advice, Celina began attending drama classes at her high school, and then enrolled at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in acting.

Celina grew up being interested in music as well, while she was also planning on launching a modelling career, but eventually settled with acting.

Career as an actress and a model

Celina first launched her career as a model while she was attending Guildhall Drama School, but went on to win her first roles in theatre plays, such as Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night”, “Nicholas Nickleby” adapted from Dickens’ novel, and “Blood Wedding” by Garcia Lorca, among others.

She made her debut movie appearance in “My Neighbor’s Dog” short film in 2010 portraying Jane, but didn’t receive much attention for her performance.
