Early life education

Brooke’s ethnicity is Caucasian, and she grew up in the US, raised by her parents. Her father was a photographer, and she became interested in photography as well, and participated in numerous competitions throughout her high school years – she enrolled at Sam Houston State University, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1991.

Brooke then launched her career in the field of scientology, which is a body of religious beliefs and practices first established by L. Ron Hubbard, an American writer, in 1952. She has been working at the Psychiatry: An Industry of Death Museum in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. Brooke is also a part-time photographer and a party planner.

Divorced from husband, dating a lesbian

Brooke’s partner, Catherine Bell, met her husband Adam Beason in 1992, while shooting for the “Death Becomes Her” movie – they began dating and married on 8 May 1994.

She appeared in the film “Men of War” in 1994, and then in 1995 was cast in the “JAG” TV series, which made her popular in the film industry, remaining part of the cast until 2005 when the series ended. In 2007, she was cast to play Denise Sherwood in the “Army Wives” TV series, and in 2008 portrayed the lead role of Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Nightingale in “The Good Witch” movie, reprising her role in “The Good Witch’s Garden” in 2009, and “The Good Witch’s Gift” in 2010 (four more sequels followed in the next four years).

Some of her latest roles have been in “Home for Christmas Day” in 2017, playing Jane McKendrick, and in “A Summer to Remember” in 2018 as Jessica Tucker, while she has recently joined the main cast of the 10th season of the “NCIS: Los Angeles” TV series, which is yet to air.

Catherine can speak English and Farsi fluently. She is an adventurer and a sporting person –a motorcyclist, skier, snowboarder, and a kickboxer. One of her main hobbies is sewing while she is also fond of making model cars, which she began doing at the age of eight.
