Early Life and Educational Background

Brian Patrick Stepanek was born on the 6th of February 1971, in Cleveland, Ohio, USA to William Joseph Stepanek and Constance Stepanek. Not much information is available on his early years and any siblings, however, it is known that Brian attended Gilmour Academy from 1985-1989, and later on Syracuse University.


Acting Career

Brian Stepanek began his acting career while he was still in University, by appearing in various theatre productions and stage plays. He made his television debut in 2002 as Senator’s Aide in “The West Wing”. Before his break out role, he appeared in other television shows such as “What I Like About You”, “The Drew Carey Show” and “Six Feet Under”, and the film “The Island”.

His most popular role came in 2005 in the hit sitcom, “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” as Arwin Hochauser followed by the lead role in “Brian O’ Brian” in 2008. He reprised his role in the spin-off “The Suite Life on Deck” as Arwin Hawkhauser, and starred in the Disney Channel Original “Hatching Pete” as Coach Mackay. More roles followed with guest appearances in “Mr Young”, “The Haunted Hathaways”, “Jessie” and “Two and-a-Half Men, and he also starred in the films “Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2”, “Jingle All The Way 2”, “Home” and “LBJ”, to name a few.

In 2014, he took on one of the main roles as Tom Harper in Nickelodeon’s “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn”, which became one of his most popular roles. He then appeared in a recurring roles in “Young Sheldon”, “Longmire” and “The Thundermans”, while his most recent television role was as Mr. Castellotti in “I’m Sorry” in 2019, and appearances in the films “Daphne and Velma” and “Green Book” in 2018.

He made his debut as a voice actor in 2004 with the role of Roger in “Father of the Pride”.

In 2006, he took on two roles in the films “Charlotte’s Web” and “Over the Hedge”, followed by roles in the shows “The Secret Saturdays”, “Phineas and Ferb” and “Mixels”, as well as the film “Bolt”. His most notable roles as a voice actor include Harold Buttowski in “Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil”, Lynn Loud Sr in “The Loud House”, and  the 2015 film “Home” as Gorg Commander /Boovs.

Brian and Parisa dated for a few years from 1998, and on the 14th of July 2002, the couple tied the knot. Now, almost 18 years later, they are the proud parents of three children; the family of five live in Los Angeles, California, managing to keep their family life private and out of the spotlight.
