General

Amelia Heinle is an American actress, best known for her roles in soap operas. She took part in “The Young and the Restless” – receiving two Daytime Emmy Awards in 2014 and 2015 as an Outstanding Supporting Actress – “The Limey” (1999) and “Loving” in the early ‘90s, and she is widely known for her contribution to the soap opera culture. She is of Caucasian ethnicity and holds US citizenship.

She has been married twice, to Thad Luckinbill and Michael Weatherly.

Personal life

Heinle was born the oldest of four children on 17 March 1973 in Casa Grande, Arizona USA. Her horoscope sign is Pisces, and has American nationality. There is no specific information regarding her parents or siblings, except that when she was fifteen years old, her family moved to New Jersey.

In February 1995, Heinle married her on-screen love interest and soap opera actor Michael Weatherly, and in January 1996 Amelia gave birth to their son, however, in 1997 they filed for a divorce, for reasons unknown.

After divorcing, she was single for a decade, until in March 2007 she married Thad Luckinbill, her “Young and Restless” co-star – the couple met in 1999 when he joined the cast of the show, in which their characters are closely connected, as he played her ex-husband.

They have two children together, a son Thaddeus Row born in 2007, and a daughter Georgia born in December 2009.

Even though, they seemed like a very solid couple, as no rumors or scandals were surrounding this couple, after ten years of marriage Heinle and Luckinbill filed for divorce. According to news reports, Luckinbill filed for the split up in Los Angeles Superior court citing “irreconcilable differences”.

Thad is asking for joint custody of their two children, and also for the court to look into the issue of spousal support. Amelie has brown hair and blue eyes, is 5ft 6ins (167cm) tall, reputedly weighs 125lbs (57kgs), and her vital statistics are 32-24-33, with a 32B bra size.

Career

Heinle started on her acting career in 1990, communicating with numerous TV productions.

From 1993 to 1995 she appeared in the soap opera “Loving”,  cast as Stephanie ‘Steffi’ Brewster. This part got her a lot of publicity for the first time, as she was nominated for the Musical Drama Digest Award in the Outstanding Female Newcomer category. From 1995 to 1996 she had a part in the short-lived spin-off show called “The City”. In 1999 she appeared with Steven Soderbergh in the movie “The Limey”, as Peter Fonda’s girlfriend.

Her breakthrough came in 2001 when she was cast as Mia Saunders in the soap opera “All My Children” through 2004, when she decided not to renew her contract.  She went on to play Victoria Newman in the CBS soap opera “The Young and the Restless” in 2005.

In April 2009, she appeared with her husband in the show “Ghost Whisperer” as a guest star. She also appeared in a music video for the song “I Will Buy You a New Life” by an American rock band Everclear.
