Despite being in a large family involved in acting, Eija decided to pursue other interests; at 14 years old she was noticed by a modeling agency, and after an offer came her way, Eija accepted it, and for the next four years was deeply involved in modeling.
However, once she turned 18 years, Eija decided to focus on other matters – she later claimed that the reason for leaving the modeling industry was too much pressure and a constant need to lose weight. Since then, she has chased various aspirations, and now serves as the manager of the nightclub in Sweden.

The oldest brother is Alexander Skarsgard, born on the 25th August 1976 in Stockholm, Sweden, who made his acting debut in 1984 in the Swedish film “Åke och hans värld”. He took a break until 1999 when he returned to acting with the role of Marcus Englund in the TV series “Vita lögner”. Since then, Alexander has become an award-winning actor, with a Golden Globe Award in his collection. Some of his most famous roles include the part of Eric Northman in the TV series “True Blood” (2008-2014), then as Michael in the film “Melancholia” (2011), and as John Clayton/ Tarzan in the film “The Legend of Tarzan” (2016).

Gustaf Caspar Orm Skarsgard is the next in line, born on the 12th November 1980. He made his debut in 1989 in the film “Codename Coq Rouge”, and after finishing a theatre school in Stockholm, joined the Royal Dramatic Theatre. Gustaf is best known to the world as Floki in the hit TV series “Vikings” (2013-2019), and as Karl Strand in the TV series “Westworld”. Gustaf hasn’t spoken much about his personal life, though it is known that he is now single, having been in a relationship with actress Hanna Alstrom from 1999 until 2005.
Born Bill Istvan Gunther Skarsgard on the 9th August 1990, he is the fourth child and third actor in the family. Bill made his debut in 2000 with the part of Klasse in the film “White Water Fury”, and got his big break with the role of Simon in the film “Simple Simon” in 2010. From 2013 to 2015 he was Roman Godfrey in the TV series “Hemlock Grove”, while in 2017 he reached stardom with the film “It”, and the lead role Pennywise. He’s also starred in the sequel released this year, entitled “It Chapter Two” (2019), and is one of the main characters in the TV series “Castle Rock” (2018-2019).
Although not married, Bill, is the father of a daughter born in October 2018 – her mother is Bill’s longtime girlfriend, Alida Morberg, also an actress.
Valter is the youngest child of Stellan and My; he was born on the 25th October 1995, and his career started when he was just eight years old, debuting in the film “Details”. He returned to acting in 2007 when he was chosen for the role of Jon in the film “Arn: The Knight Templar”, and its sequel “Arn: The Kingdom at Road’s End” (2008). The TV mini-series “Arn” was also released in 2010.

Since then, Valter has become quite popular with roles in such films as “IRL” (2013), and the TV series “Black Lake” (2016-2018). Most recently, Valter appeared in the film “Funhouse” (2019), and is working on the film “Don’t Click”, scheduled for release in 2020.
Valter is in a committed relationship with Jade Classon. They have often been spotted together, and have shared pictures of themselves on social media pages.

The head of the Skarsgard family was born Stellan John Skarsgard on the 13th June 1951, in Gothenburg, Sweden, but lived in Helsingborg, Kalmar, Totebo, Marielund, and Uppsala during his childhood.
His career started when he was still young, and most of his parts were in Swedish films. However, Stellan earned global recognition with lead roles in high-profile films such as “The Hunt for Red October” (1990), then as Professor Gerald Lambeau in the film “Good Will Hunting”, and as Dr. Erik Selvig in the Marvel films, starting with “Thor” in 2011.
